OFFER DESCRIPTION

PhD positions are available in the Abeliovich lab at the Hebrew University (Rehovot campus). The Abeliovich lab explores mechanisms of regulation and selectivity in autophagic degradation, with a special emphasis on mitophagic mechanisms. Fellowships are available for an exciting molecular biology project involving proteomic analyses of autophagic protein degradation networks. Candidates with a degree in biology, chemistry, and related disciplines, and with previous experience in molecular biology are encouraged to apply. Good English skills are essential. Knowledge of the Hebrew language is not required. The position can start immediately or upon mutual agreement. Rehovot is a world-renowned science hub that is located 20 kilometers south of Tel Aviv and a twenty minute bike ride from the beach. Skills/Qualifications

BSc or MSc in the experimental sciences, with a preference for Biology and Chemistry graduates. An experience in molecular biology techniques is a plus.
