OFFER DESCRIPTION

A team of scholars at our institute both teaches and does research in different branches of social ethics. We are looking for a qualified colleague to assist in our work. Besides the set duties, time will be made available for the writing of a dissertation in the field of social ethics. Within the scope of the University we offer possibilities for further education and for experience in teaching. We also provide a creative and pleasant working atmosphere. The starting salary corresponds to the scales set officially by the University of Vienna.

Areas of work include assisting the research, teaching and administrative work; helping with the preparation and organisation of publications, lectures and conferences, especially in the areas of researching and evaluating relevant literature; participation in academic exchange programmes and activities both within the faculty and with other tertiary institutions; the independent writing of a dissertation in the field of social ethics and holding classes due to extent regulations of wage agreement. We expect the successful candidate to sign a doctoral thesis agreement wihin 12 to 18 months.
