At the department of Systematic Theology and Ethics (research cluster Social Ethics) of the Faculty of Catholic Theology a post doc position (50%) is to be filled.

Active participation in research, teaching and administration. This involves - Developing and strengthening the independent research profile - Involvement in research projects - International publications and presentations - Responsibility for project applications and the acquisition of third-party funding - Preparing a habilitation thesis - Independent teaching of courses as defined by the collective agreement - Supervision of students - Participation in evaluation measures and quality assurance - Involvement in the department administration as well as in teaching and research administration Active participation in research, teaching and administration. PhD in Social Ethics/Theological Ethics - Professional competence - Methodological competence (interdisciplinary research focus: Theories and Methodology in cultural sciences and humanities) - Didactic competence - High ability to express yourself both orally and in writing - Excellent command of written and spoken English - IT user skills - Ability to work in a team - international network - International experience in scientifc research, teaching and lectures - research focus in one or mutiple of the following research fields: Ethics in plural socites (dialogue mit cultural sciences, intercultural and interreligious ethics also related to Islam, religion and the public, human rights discourse, freedom of religion etc.)
