We invite applications for a doctoral (PhD) student position in the field of the theoretical and mathematical physics. The successful candidate will join the Group for Quantum Gravity and Mathematical Physics in the Division of Theoretical Physics, Rudjer Boskovic Institute.

Benefits

The net salary is approximately 800 Eur. In Croatia the researcher receives, in addition to the salary, state benefits (including pension, parental leave, state­ subsidized childcare, vacation and full medical care) as well as some other financial state benefits.

Eligibility criteria

In addition to the general conditions for employment, applicants must meet the requirements stipulated in Article 43 in the Scientific Activity and Higher Education Act and: Master degree in physics.

The following should be attached to the application form: a cover letter, a curriculum vitae, appropriate diploma or certificate of completion of the study, a transcript of passed courses and GPA, two letters of recommendation.

Doctoral students are required to enroll in doctoral studies in theoretical particle physics.
