Academic Staff

Liepaja Univeristy (reg. No 3042000219), when elaborating and implementing the 8.2.2. specific support aim project “To strengthen the academic staff of higher education institutions in the areas of strategical specialization”, within the selection round of project applications according to the regulations of the Cabinet of Ministers No 25 (composed on the 9^th of January, 2018 in Riga), announces selection of foreign academic staff in study directions:

• Art
• Management, administration and immovable property management
• Information Technology, Computer Equipment, Electronics, Telecommunications, Computer Control and Computer Science
• Environment protection
• Education, pedagogy and sport

Requirements for applicants:

• person, who has taken any academic position in one of accredited foreign higher schools for at least five years
• person with a doctor’s degree in the corresponding or similar branch of science (in the field of Art – at least a master degree)
• person with experience in scientific / creative work
• person, who has publications / creative works in the corresponding or similar branch of science
• person with experience in elaboration and improvement of learning and study materials
• person, who uses innovative teaching methods in the study process
• person with good English language skills (at least C1 according to Europass evaluation table) and is able to use the language in the teaching and methodological work
• person with good digital competences according to Europass self-evaluation table, as well as with knowledge about the newest technologies

Documents to be submitted:

• application addressed to the Rector
• CV in Europass format
• copy of the diploma with scientific degree / master degree
• list of publications within the last five years

Project implementation period: the 4^th quarter of 2018 until the 4^th quarter of 2022
