In the Department of Economic Sociology at the Faculty of Economics, Business and Statistics a position of a Research Associate (prae doc) will be filled by 1 October 2018. The position is limited to a three-year period. We expect participation in departmental research projects. The PhD dissertation should be situated in the field of labor market sociology and focus on labor market entry. Further, the position holder will have to teach, i.a., courses in economic sociology and methods of empirical research.
Your tasks will encompass research assistance, teaching (according to the regulations of the collective agreement) and administration in the Department of Economic Sociology. We expect the successful candidate to sign a doctoral thesis agreement within 6-12 months. Experience in the design, administration and analysis of internationally comparative, qualitative research projects in the context of quantitative research.
