The investigator will be responsible for performing research objectives in project entitled "„Innovative technology of cold ultrafast photo-magnetic recording and novel approach to ultrafast opto-spintronics”. Project is carried out within the TEAM programme of the Foundation for Polish Science.
The goal of TEAM project is to research and employ “cold ultrafast photo-magnetism” in order to achieve the fastest possible as well as least dissipative magnetic recording in an innovative technology. At the same time the project will develop a novel approach to ultrafast spintronics by bringing together the three areas of ultrafast magnetism, coherent nonlinear optics and electronics.

Eligibility criteria
The candidate must hold a PhD degree in physics
Selection process
Selection is based on the (personal or remote) interview with the best candidates selected based on the sent documents in English or Polish language:

3. copy of the PhD diploma
4. recommendation from senior scientists

Skills/Qualifications
1. PhD in physics (preferred magnetism or optics) obtained in 2016 or later.
2. Experience in magnetism, magneto-optics, ultrafast optics.
3. High motivation and enthusiasm for experimental research.
4. Very good English skills.
Specific Requirements
Key responsibilities include:
- ferromagnetic resonance, time-resolved optical spectroscopy, ultrafast magnetization precession using Faraday/Kerr effects
- conducting experiments in laboratory
- dissemination of Project results
