The applicant should have PhD degree in the field of biology, discipline of ecology and specialization in molecular ecology, hydrobiology. It is recommended that applicant has experience in field of zoology supported by publications from JCR database, at least 5 publications, 30 points each according to the current list of the Ministry of Science and Higher Educations.

Other requirements:

  1. knowledge in phylogeny and taxonomy of Malacostraca and knowledge in invasive species ecology (Crustacea);
  2. knowledge in molecular ecology, phylogenetics, biogeography, population genetics and hydrobiology;
  3. advanced skills in organization and supervising work in molecular laboratory (particularly in field of molecular ecology and taxonomy), supported by at least 6 months long international experience;
  4. advanced skills in Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM), and standard microscopy
  5. advanced skills in using phylogenetic and statistic software used in analysis of molecular data, evidenced by publications
  6. international experience in scientific work (e.g. internships/scholarships abroad);
  7. experience in team work in scientific grants.
  8. driving license category B
  9. experience in hydrobiological field expeditions
  10. good skills in English language
