This position will involve working at MTG-UPF in Barcelona to develop signal processing and machine learning algorithms for automatic quality assessment and semantic annotation of music audio in the context of digital music distribution systems in collaboration with La Cupula Music.

    Computer science: Master Degree or equivalent
  • REQUIRED LANGUAGES
    ENGLISH: Excellent

Skills/Qualifications

Required skills/qualifications:

Master degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or or equivalent, with 2+ years of practical experience

Experience in design and development of music audio signal analysis, processing, and classification algorithms

Proficiency in software development using C++, Python, and Git Experience in Linux, including scripting Ability to work and deliver autonomously while being a part of a team

Preferred skills/experience:

Master degree in Sound and Music Computing, Music Technology or related field Experience developing audio signal processing algorithms in an industrial context

Experience using Essentia or similar audio analysis software

Being passionate about writing clean code
