The aim of the research program is to identify more precise tools for measuring economic performance, accountings standards, solvency and financial, strategic and competitive risk. Particular attention is given to the development of models to quantify competitive risk and evaluate business strategies. The research focuses on the correlation between competitive risk and financial soundness with reference to the cost of capital and the implementation of sufficient methods of company assessment focusing on cash flow and profit management. The development of models to determine the Competitive Advantage Period or “CAP” is fundamental to evaluation of sustainable value. The research program concludes with relevant methods of variance analysis.
