A team of scholars at our institute both teaches and does research in different branches of "Theology of Spirituality" (belonging to the Institute of "Historical Theology"). We are looking for a qualified colleague to assist in our work. Besides the set duties, time will be made available for the writing of a dissertation in the field of "Theology of Spirituality" or in a closely related discipline (e.g. Dogmatics, Church History, Patrology) with a focus on spirituality, its history, theology, literature or practice. Within the scope of the University we offer possibilities for further education and for experience in teaching. We also provide a creative and pleasant working atmosphere. The starting salary corresponds to the scales set officially by the University of Vienna.

Participation in research, teaching and administration:
- Participation in research projects / research studies
- Participation in publications / academic articles / presentations
- We expect the successful candidate to sign a doctoral thesis agreement within 12-18 months.
- Participation in teaching and independent teaching of courses as defined by the collective agreement
- Supervision of students
- Involvement in the organisation of meetings, conferences, symposiums
