Faculty of Theology, University of Opole, seeks qualified applications for a full-time faculty member in Department of New Testament at the rank of Assistant Professor. Candidate will teach courses of New Testament and Biblical Greek.

Skills/Qualifications

Master degree in Theology; Canonical

degree of Sacrae Scripurae Licentiatus in

the field of New Testament and Biblical

Archeology. A corresponding theoretical

knowledge and knowledge of key empirical

research methods; ability to work under

pressure; willingness to teamwork; ability to

work independently; willingness to

cooperate with experts from other disciplines

in the research fields of the Faculty, good

computer skills; an advanced level of Ph.D.

thesis.

Specific Requirements

Theoretical and practical knowledge of

biblical archeological sites in Israel, Jordan,

Turkey and Greece. Experience in organizing

and leading study trips to the biblical

archeological sites.
