Offer Description

The four-year ASTERIx-CAESar project aims to develop an innovative concept of a
concentrating solar power plant (CSP) integrated with a CAES (Compressed Air Energy
Storage). The activities involve the technical-economic and environmental optimisation of the CSP-CAES plant and the
development and experimental validation of key components for the realisation of the proposed concept. The activities of
ROMA TRE are mainly aimed at the optimisation of heat exchange systems operating at low and high temperatures.
