JOB SUMMARY: Marsi Bionics , a health technology star‐up company providing paediatric exoskeletons to maintain ambulatory capacity of children with neuromuscular diseases, has a opening in September 2017 for 1 year (according to H2020 SME Innovation Associate program) in its office located at Madrid (Spain) and hopefully further employment, offering our candidate an attractive research career opportunity in the field of humane robots. JOB DESCRIPTION: The posititon involves developing ergonomics and safety aspects in the motion of paediatric bionics robots for using in children with Neuromuscular diseases. Under the DTO supervison, we are looking for a selfmotivated, highly talented individual with an excellent bacground in lower‐limb locomotion and software simulation development. The sucessful candidate will work closely with a tema of engineers, physics, clinicians ans scientists in improving ergonomics and robustness of our paediatric exoskeletons. candidates with experience in robotic and/ or neurmuscular illnesses would give a higher priority.

Gross Salary: 42,000€

Selection process

Applicant selection: From May to June: The entity will select a maximum of three camdidates based on the evaluted needs:

.- Their expertise grade in medical biomechanics, with knowledge in lower-limb locomotion.

.-Their knowledge of robnotic applied to healthcare sector.

.- Their skills in software simulation development.

Other skilss such as self-motivation, problem solver, analysis capability

The three applicants will be interviewed via video conference. We will share our vision for the company and what we need. We will ask open-ended questions (how can your expertise help us?) that asses the needed skills.

Final decision: By July, the candidate we interpreted fists better with the notified profile and company policies will be chosen

Incorporation: On septermber 2017 the candidate incorporation will begin for a 12 months period.

Specific Requirements

Minimun requirements: PhD in biomedical engineering or mechnical engineer with biomechanics profile//

Research experience in machines and mechanism design//Knowledge of elastic material properties
