The candidate will take part in the PharmaTox Strategic Research Initiative, which is a multidisciplinary platform comprising of researcher with a strong background in pharmaceutical bioscience, biology, informatics, genetics and statistics. The background for the PharmaTox Strategic Research Initiative is the current lack of knowledge about the possible long-term effect of pharmaceuticals on neurodevelopment. PharmaTox will develop new strategies for studying neurotoxicity of pharmaceuticals by combining human epidemiological data with biological data and data from stem cell- and animal models. The epidemiological data consists of the Mother and Child Cohort (MoBa) at the National Institute of Public Health linked to other national health registries.
