We are looking for a highly motivated researcher to join our ongoing research efforts in conducting research activities related to the Scientific Area "Chemical Sciences" to be carried out within the theme  "Materials and water treatment".The expected start date for this position is October 1, 2023.

The perpective candidate will perform his/her research activity in the frame of "Materials for Water Treatment" to be conducted at the CNR Institute for Organic Synthesis and Photoreactivity, which carries out research on the development of materials for the removal of emerging pollutants from drinking water, under the following topic: "Advanced Materials" as part of the Project "Give plastic wastes from the production of hollow-fiber membranes a second life - LIFE REMEMBRANCE"

with experience in:

- Graphene-based composites preparation and related characterization

- Adsorption isotherms, filtration procedures

- Inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry (ICP-MS)

- High-performance liquid chromatography and mass spectrometry (HPLC-UV and LC/MS)

- Technologies and procedures for purifying water from emerging pollutants and PFASs
