The project: To address several hypotheses underlying the association between depression and incident cardiovascular disease. Hypotheses cover the psychosocial area, sleep complaints, arterial stiffness, heart rate variability, baroreflex sensitivity and circulating biomarkers. The project is based on the Paris Prospective Study III, an ongoing observational prospective cohort of 10 000 participants
