OFFER DESCRIPTION

As part of a research project, partly funded by the Midi-Pyrénées Region, which aims to contribute to the development of a new range of aircraft electrical converters at very high efficiency, the LGP-ENIT recruits a post- PhD student. The objective of this project is to support the development of a range of innovative converters for collective and individual power supply for passenger, in the low to medium voltage at a power level of 10 to 100 W. A challenge of this project aims at developing converters whose performance must be very high to allow a natural convection cooling (without any ventilation).

Eligibility criteria

The applicant should hold a PhD in specialties such as:
• materials for power electronic assemblies,
• power electronics (implementation of integrated functions) or low voltage - low power embedded converters,
• or more generally in Electrical Engineering, or on topics related to the robustness (reliability) of power electronics assemblies.
