Understanding Horizon Europe for research leadership groups of Fiji

EURAXESS Australia and New Zealand Regional Coordinator, Mr Nishant Shandilya was invited by Fiji National University and the University of the South Pacific to speak about Horizon Europe, on 25 March 2024, to their research leadership group.

The online session focused primarily on the EU Framework Programme - Horizon Europe and delved deeper into Pillar I (Excellent Science) and Pillar II (Global Challenges). Details on Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) and the European Research Council (ERC) Grants were also discussed. A high-level overview of Pillar II was also presented to showcase how and what involvement in collaborative research grants would entail.
