The researcher will conduct teaching and research activities for the GDS and SSD subject of the selection. Possessing a solid theoretical background, with philological skills in archival research and the transcription of texts, he/she will have to deal with investigations concerning the formation and evolution processes of Italian from ancient to contemporary phases. Specific attention is paid to the literary language, its formal structures, and the field of lexicography. The researcher will have to deal with aspects of the textuality and pragmatics of the language of representative modern and contemporary writers to highlight relevant experiences for the teaching of the language and history of the Italian language, as about didactic methodologies, the computer analysis of texts and corpora, the edition of texts functional to linguistic study to define the style, communicative functions, and meaning.
