Missions
As part of the activities of the Department of Biology, the person hired must:
- Provide practical work, tutorials and field internships (1st cycle and 2nd cycle) which may include topics such as animal diversity and evolution, marine biology, ecotoxicology, animal physiology, ecophysiology and ecoethology.
- Actively collaborate in the technical and scientific management of the research unit
- Conduct research in ecotoxicology and/or ecophysiology and/or behavioral ecology including fish species and leading to a PhD.
- Participate in events and the organization of the Research Unit (URBE) and the Biology department, as well as the Research Institute (ILEE).
Profile
Those who apply need to hold a master's degree in biological sciences (MMM, BBMC or BOE), in bioengineering, or any other diploma deemed equivalent, on the starting date.
The skills and qualities required are as follows:
- Have skills in animal diversity, including systematics, or be able to develop these skills in the short term.
- Show a marked interest in teaching.
- Show a particular interest in aquatic ecotoxicology, ecophysiology and/or behavioral ecology.
- Ability and motivation to integrate into a teaching and research team.
- Have excellent communication skills in French and English.
